USA: Here’s the minimum wage paid to a waiter in a fast-food restaurant in California

Previously set at $16 an hour, the minimum wage for fast-food restaurant employees has just been raised in California. It is now set at $20 an hour, the highest minimum wage in the land of Uncle Sam.

In concrete terms, a fast-food restaurant employee working eight hours a day from Monday to Friday will now have to earn a monthly salary of US$3,200.
