The artist Lucie Kunda, of the musical group Kunda sisters, died last Sunday, April 7, in Kinshasa following an organic dysfunction. The news of her disappearance arouses several reactions from both celebrities and music lovers who knew her.

“I am sad to learn of the death of Lucie KUNDA from KUNDA SISTERS. Let us love each other alive. My condolences to all his family and to the Church Body of Christ. We will miss a beautiful voice from now on” wrote the artist Aime Nkanu on his Facebook page.

On Instagram, artist Dena Mwana also sent her condolences, while praying for the bereaved family.

“May the Lord give peace to the family of our late sister, mother and servant of God, Lucie Kunda. She rocked the childhood of many,” she wrote.

Michel Bakenda, Henri papa Mulaja, Mj Maria, Pastor Louvha Ekaola and many other artists also regretted the disappearance of this icon of gospel music.

Christian music labels including Maajabu Gospel and Happy people also released messages of condolence.
