Video : Judith Suminwa Tuluka’s first words after her appointment as Prime Minister
Au sortir de l’audience lui accordée par le Félix Tshisekedi ce lundi 1er Avril, juste après sa nomination, le nouveau premier ministre de la RDC, madame Judith Tuluka s’est exprimé pour la première à la presse.
“To begin with, I would like to thank His Excellency, Mr. President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi, for the trust he has placed in me by appointing me Prime Minister. I would also like to give glory to God, the master of times and circumstances, for it is He who has willed that it should be this way today. I am aware of the great responsibility that is mine. I told the Head of State that he could count on my loyalty to help him bring about the development of our beloved country, the DRC, so that we can, on the basis of the commitments he defined at the time of his investiture, work for peace and development in the DRC; so that the people can benefit from this country and the resources given to us by the Lord“, she declared.

Et de poursuivre : «Je ne vais pas aller loin. Je vais m’arreter là pour aujourd’hui. Je sais que la tâche est grande, les défis sont immenses. Mais ensemble, avec le chef de l’Etat, avec l’appui de notre gouvernement, de toutes les institutions, ainsi que de toute la population congolaise, on y arrivera. Mais pensées vont à l’Est et dans tous les coins du pays qui, aujourd’hui, sont confrontés à des conflits face à des ennemis qui sont souvent cachés, qui ne se révèlent pas, mais qu’on trouvera, qu’on va pourchasser d’une manière ou d’une autre. Je pense à toute cette population et je suis de tout coeur avec elle. Merci beaucoup ».
Judith Suminwa was previously Minister of Planning in the outgoing government. She succeeds Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge.
