Eastern DRC: Pastor Marcello Tunasi appeals for donations for the war-displaced
The famous Congolese pastor Marcello Tunasi published an announcement on Tuesday, a copy of which has reached our editorial office, concerning the holding of a day to collect donations for the war-displaced in the east of the DRC.
“We are honored to announce the launch of the Compassion Foundation, an initiative dedicated to helping those displaced by war in Eastern Congo. In the face of the immense challenges facing these communities, our mission is to provide tangible and immediate support to those who need it most.” he wrote.
As part of the launch of this organization, scheduled for Saturday June 29, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a fund-raising event will be organized to collect food, clothing, school supplies and any other useful contributions for the housing and medical care of victims of the horrors of war in the east of the country.
