Travel Business : The destination of Félix Tshisekedi’s plane on Sunday remains hidden!
Since the morning of Sunday April 7, several airport sources have reported to Brothermyephre.com that President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi has been travelling abroad
However, the destination and agenda of the Congolese Head of State have not been disclosed.
An initial rumor on social networks claimed that President Tshisekedi would be staying in Paris, the French capital.
A few hours later, video footage from Belgian TV station RTBF suggested that President Félix Tshisekedi had instead travelled to Kigali to take part in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.
This information, which came as a surprise to many Congolese Internet users, was quickly denied by Madame Tina Salama, spokeswoman for the President of the Republic.
“The President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi did not travel to Kigali to take part in the commemoration of the genocide, contrary to what was broadcast on RTBF. Rather, he is traveling abroad for urgent matters relating to the country,” she wrote on social network X (formerly Twitter).
However, the Head of State’s spokeswoman refrained from revealing the destination of the first Congolese citizen.
