Travel Business: Belgian media RTBF apologizes after saying that Félix Tshisekedi was in Kigali to commemorate the Rwandan genocide (Video)
Contrary to allegations made by RTBF’s correspondent in Rwanda, President Félix Tshisekedi did not travel to Kigali to take part in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.
In a publication on the RTBF.BE website, consulted by BROMYFA, the Belgian media outlet apologizes to its readers.
“Contrary to what we erroneously stated in our 1pm news edition on Sunday April 7, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Tshisekedi, was not present at these commemoration ceremonies. We sincerely apologize for this error,” says the RTBF.be article.
